Around the time the wheel was invented, Susie Cornfield was training to be a journalist on a south London paper. She joined the staff of The Sunday Times; was a columnist on the Sunday Telegraph; wrote documentaries for BBC TV; and became a presenter/producer for United Artists TV. Then she had lunch.
